Fassett Jr. Strikes Again


TalladegaFassett Jr. makes it two straight wins, leading 23 of 47 for a big win in OILRacing.com Cup Series action. C. Hanna would charge ahead for a 2nd place finish, also leading a lap.  OIL veteran AR takes 3rd with a lap led. The race featured 12 lead changes between 8 different drivers, with 2 cautions on the night. Tough luck award goes to J. Devitt, First to worst but picking up pole number one on the season. Fassett Jr. Survives Richmond


Richmond — For the first time ever Fassett Jr. wins in OILRacing.com league action. Fassett Jr. would lead 69 of the 118 laps posting his fastest lap at the 108 mark, timed at 21.825 sec. Fassett would finish 2nd after battling back from laps down. L. Carlblom would finish 3rd. The race at Richmond included 11 cautions, which only 4 were claimed by data from pit road speeding penalties taken. The caution count was to high and drivers will need to perform better moving forward. Just one week following an exceptional race at Bristol it was have at it boys and then some.

AR Claims Bristol


BristolAR goes on to win at Bristol leading 87 and surviving some late race restarts to gather the win. Last weeks winner J. Devitt finishes 2nd with 31 laps led and retains the point lead heading into Richmond next Thursday. L. Carlblom would lead 7 and fall short on the final restart hitting the apron and hang on to a solid 3rd place finish.  Three cautions on the night with 3 different leaders.
